Development of academic staff for the digital economy (Consulting support of the International Scientific and Methodological Center of NRNU MEPhI)

The International Scientific and Methodological Center NRNU MEPhI (ISMC) was created to improve  the scientific-pedagogical personnel  training system  in accordance with international standards, taking into account global trends in the development of scientific and technological research in the field of informatics and digital technology, including through the creation of a network structure of partner educational organizations, ready to test and implement technologies, methods and approaches to teaching  students  mathematics, information technology, programming and cross-cutting technologies based on the best international standards and practices aggregated by NRNU MEPhI.

The partnership between the ISMC and the Foundation was aimed at mainstreaming the ISMC activities and supporting the international dimension of the Center's activities. As part of the provision of consulting services, the Foundation conducted 3 scientific and methodological events in the format of lectures by leading experts, organized 4 Foresight sessions, including lectures by experts and group work on designing directions for the development of digital competencies of teachers. It also launched a survey on digital competencies, in which more than 1,500 teachers participated.  Open lectures within the framework of the program attracted up to 600 participants at a time. One of the Youtube lectures of the program on got more than 1.3 thousand views.

The program resulted in formulation of  proposals for development of the ISMC for 2021, including t development of new thematic areas and the use of new formats for organization of educational activities.
