The future of the russian orbital station

On July 28, the Foundation's team held a strategic session together with RSC Energia to discuss the future functions and business model of the future Russian orbital station (ROS). The participants of the event offered their views on the construction of the new station. Based on the results of the strategic session, a pool of opinions was formulated regarding the appointment of the ROS and the list of requirements for the plant's functionality.

In the opinion of RSC Energia management and the expert community, the important areas of its work will be national security and scientific research, including long-duration space missions. And one of the applied functions of ROS should be the development at the station of technologies which in the future will be used both in space and on Earth.
