Strategic session held on June 1 in Kaluga
The event was dedicated to discussing the priorities of thesocio-economic development of the region until 2040.
More than 70 participants gathered at the site - representatives of regional authorities, local government, business, education and science. The session was attended by the Governor of the Kaluga Oblast, Vladislav Valeryevich Shapsha.
The participants noted that rapid recovery and sustainable long-term growth of the region's economy are possible through the identification of new growth drivers in priority sectors for the region, including the automotive and pharmaceutical industries, and the agro-industrial complex. It is also necessary to create conditions for a high quality of life for new generations - young people, qualified specialists. We discussed the high potential of the Kaluga Oblast for increasing the tourist flow. And the importance of developing a new generation of cultural and environmental projects, among other things. One of the priorities for the region will also be investments in infrastructure projects (development of road transport, industrial infrastructure), which will be significant for attracting new wave of investors.
